By using HopMic you agree to what's below.

This agreement is between you and EchoPoint Entertainment LLC of Raleigh, NC, which operates HopMic. "We" and "us" below mean the company.

A listing service. We show open mic nights, let hosts publish them, and let performers and audience members sign up. We don't run the events, we're not there on the night, and we don't take payment for slots.

Claiming a slot is a commitment to the host, not to us. Hosts run their own rooms — they decide the order, how long you get, and what happens if you don't turn up. If you can't make it, cancel in the app so someone on the waiting list can take the slot.

A confirmed slot can still change. Venues cancel, hosts reschedule, and rooms run over. Check before you travel.

Publish events you actually have permission to run at venues that have agreed to host them. Keep the details accurate, and cancel in the app if the night is off so nobody turns up to a locked door.

You're responsible for the content you publish, including cover images — don't upload anything you don't have the right to use.

Don't use HopMic to harass anyone, to publish events that don't exist, or to claim slots you have no intention of performing. We can remove content and accounts that do.

Every event in the app has a Report option, and you can hide a host's events from your feed from the same menu. You don't need an account to report something.

We review reports within 24 hours and remove anything that breaches these terms. The host is never told who reported them.

The service is provided as is. We try to keep listings accurate, but the information comes from hosts and venues and we can't guarantee it. We're not liable for a night that was cancelled, moved, or turned out not to be your thing.

We may change or discontinue the service. If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them.
